This - the only live track on the album, a field recording in Meher Baba's Tomb - is the sound of 'arti' (twice daily songs, poems and offerings from the heart). The shuffling hypnotic chant of Baba's Name at the start will conjure the experience up for anyone who's been there. All the apparently discordant or distracting noises off seem to be drawn in to the rhythm of the chant which - with Gabriella joining in so joyously over the top - combine in a ragged symphony of creation. Then she sings our heart out to our Beloved and points the way home.

I am not. Now the bubble has burst, there is nothing but sea:
This is God. I’m as drowned in His kiss as the bud in her bloom.

I am Him. Now the primal beloved and lover are one:

The Beloved is Avatar Meher Baba, whose favourite poet was Hafiz and whose favourite poetic form the ghazal (a Persian love lyric).
